I currently live in Fond du Lac with my husband, Austin and 15 month old son, Easton. Between the two of them, I keep quite busy, but I do find time to play softball, hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends.
I attended a small school from preschool through eighth grade and then attended Campbellsport High School. After graduation I went to Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a Natural Science minor.
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. I loved the idea of helping others learn! As a child, whenever my friends and I would “play school,” I ALWAYS had to be the teacher – or I wouldn’t play! ( In high school, I had a very influential teacher who inspired me to pursue science as a minor and has helped to fuel my passion for science to this day!
I hope to be a positive influence on each of the students I work with. I want to provide students with science knowledge; however, I hope that they can also learn to apply what they are learning to solve problems outside of my classroom.
