I grew up in the neighboring town of Ripon. I graduated from Ripon College with a degree in physical education and health. I am certified to teach early childhood to twelfth grade. I began my teaching career in 2013 and came to the Rosendale-Brandon School District in 2015.
Besides teaching, I also enjoy coaching. I have had the opportunity of coaching several different sports throughout the years. I have coached four years of middle school cross country and track, and I have also coached middle school boys basketball. It is quite an accomplishment to work with students and get to develop their skills outside of the classroom setting.
Although teaching and coaching keep me busy, I also enjoy spending time reading, relaxing at the lake, and spending time with family and friends. My favorite hobbies include running, camping, hiking, and biking.
I am excited to teach for such a great school district! I believe physical education should develop physical competence that leads to confidence and participation in physical activity for a lifetime. My goal as a teacher is to help students find ways to enjoy being physically active so they can carry on a healthy lifestyle into adulthood.
