I live in Fond du Lac. I am married with three children – one out of college, one in college, and the other still in high school. Since college, I have had experience as a teacher and school counselor (kindergarten through high school), as well as working in the social service field. When I am not working I enjoy a variety of sports. I still actively play adult softball, basketball, and golf. I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus and am active in my church as a lector and usher.
I originally graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a bachelors’ degree in Education. Later on I went back to school to get a Masters’ in school counseling.
I originally wanted to be a teacher because I admired some of the teachers that I had in school. I have always thought that education is very important and I wanted to be a part of it. I decided to become a school counselor because I like to help people, especially those that seem to have many challenges.
As a counselor, I hope to help these young students meet the challenges they face on their way to becoming productive and happy adults.
